South African Enterprise & Portfolio Registry Intelligence System (SAEPRIS)

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the SAEPRIS platform (https://saepris.co.za), including all services, resources, applications, data integrations, and systems provided through SAECONIX, the official enterprise intelligence system of SAEPRIS.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
1. Definitions
- SAEPRIS: South African Enterprise & Portfolio Registry Intelligence System
- SAECONIX: The integrated enterprise data and compliance support system operating within SAEPRIS
- User: Any person, business, cooperative, or SME accessing or registering with SAEPRIS
- Services: All digital tools, support, data integration, and registry functions available via the platform
- The Platform: The official SAEPRIS website and digital systems, currently hosted at https://saepris.co.za
2. Eligibility
SAEPRIS is designed for:
- South African-registered companies, cooperatives, nonprofits, and informal businesses
- Government agencies and funders accessing enterprise portfolios
- Business development partners, investors, and stakeholders
Users must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to represent their enterprise.
3. Use of Services
By using SAEPRIS or SAECONIX, you agree to:
- Submit accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate business purposes
- Keep compliance documents (CIPC, SARS, B/O, etc.) up to date
- Refrain from uploading any harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
You acknowledge that misuse may result in suspension, deregistration, or legal action.
4. Enterprise Registration & Compliance
Upon registration:
- You will receive a unique SAEPRIS-ID and certificate
- Your enterprise data will be verified and integrated with institutional systems (CIPC, SARS, CSD, DTIC)
- You are responsible for submitting or updating Beneficial Ownership (B/O), tax, and registration information as legally required
Non-compliance may lead to deregistration or ineligibility for services.
5. Fees and Free Services
SAEPRIS provides many services free of charge, including:
- B/O and CIPC compliance support
- Funding and grant eligibility verification
- Portfolio exposure to investors and procurement databases
Certain advanced services or integrations may be subject to service fees, which will be transparently disclosed.
6. Data Collection and Privacy
SAEPRIS collects and processes data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:
- Identity and enterprise data
- Banking and tax compliance records
- Cookies and analytics data
We comply with POPIA, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant legislation. Your data is stored securely and not sold to third parties.

7. Cookies and Tracking
SAEPRIS uses cookies to:
- Enhance security
- Personalize your user experience
- Track usage and improve services
You may manage cookies in your browser, but disabling them may limit your use of the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, data structures, system frameworks (including SAECONIX), trademarks, and software are the property of SAEPRIS and its affiliates unless otherwise stated.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or redistribute the platform or its content
- Reverse-engineer or extract source code
- Use our name or branding without permission
9. Availability and System Updates
While we aim to provide uninterrupted access, SAEPRIS may:
- Undergo routine maintenance or updates
- Experience temporary outages due to technical issues
- Modify services at any time to improve performance or compliance
We will notify users of major changes through the portal or email.
10. Limitation of Liability
SAEPRIS and its administrators (including the Public Price Foundation) are not liable for:
- Business losses or missed funding opportunities due to non-compliance
- Delays in verification caused by inaccurate user-submitted data
- Third-party actions or decisions (e.g., government departments or funders)
Use of the platform is at your own risk, and we make no guarantees regarding outcomes or results.
11. Termination and Deregistration
We reserve the right to suspend or deregister your account:
- If you violate these Terms
- If you provide false or misleading information
- If required by legal authorities or in accordance with national policy
You may request deregistration by contacting compliance@saepris.co.za.
12. Third-Party Integrations
SAEPRIS integrates with:
- CIPC, CSD, SARS, B-BBEE Commission, DTIC, and others
- Financial institutions, funders, and government procurement systems
You consent to these data exchanges for enterprise compliance, funding eligibility, and support.
13. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including:
- The Companies Act 2008
- The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
- The Public Administration Management Act
- Any applicable sector-specific legislation
Disputes will be resolved through appropriate administrative or legal channels.
14. Amendments
SAEPRIS may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant updates. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
